Mouse Anti-Immunoglobulin-Like Transcript 2 (LT2, Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-like Receptor Subfamily B Member 1, LIR-1, Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-like Receptor 1, CD85 Antigen-like Family Member J, ILT-2, Monocyte/Macrophage Immunoglobulin-like Receptor 7, MIR-7, CD85j, LILRB1, LIR1, MIR7) (FITC)

Immunoglobulin-like Transcript 5 is a 631 amino acid type I transmembrane glycoprotein, which contains four immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibition motif (ITIM) sequences within a long cytoplasmic tail. Phosphorylation of the tyrosine residues within ITIMs is known to enable the binding and activation of protein tyrosine phosphatases, which act as cell signalling modulators and inhibitors of cell activation.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Positive Control for Immunohistochemistry
Human tonsil
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Monocyte derived dendritic cells.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes human Immunoglobulin-like Transcript 2 expressed predominately on B-cells and monocytes, and at lower levels on dendritic cells, T-cells and natural killer (NK) cells.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
