Rabbit Anti-Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein 9 (IGF Binding Protein 9, IGFBP9, IGFBP-9, IBP-9, CCN Family Member 3, CCN3, Nephroblastoma Overexpressed Gene Protein Homolog, NOV, NovH, Protein NOV Homolog) (HRP)
Insulinlike growth factor binding protein9, also known as NOV/CCN3, a326aa cysteinerich secreted regulatory protein and member of the CCN family, containing the domains IGFBP, VWFC, Cterminal cysteine knotlike and thrombospondin type I repeat. IGFBP9 is an inducer of cell migration and adhesion and shows increased expression in Wilm’s tumors and nephroblastomas. In contrast, decreased expression of IGFBP9 correlates with an increase in tumorgenicity in certain cancers including childhood adrenocortical tumors (ACT). This reagent may be used in an indirect ELISA for the detection of IGFBP9 or as a capture antibody in sandwich ELISA system.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Recombinant human IGFBP9, expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human IGFBP9.
