Mouse Anti-Integrin, beta1 (Integrin beta-1, ITGB1, CD29, Fibronectin Receptor Subunit beta, FNRB, GPIIA, MDF2, MSK12, VLA-4 Subunit beta, VLA-BETA, VLAB)

b1-Integrins mediate cell-extracellular matrix interactions and share a common b-subunit. Monoclonal antibodies against this b1 -Integrin subunit are applicable in paraffin-embedded and frozen sections, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation. Numerous studies have shown that b1 -Integrins have a distinct and wide cellular distribution and that there are alterations in malignant cells in their b1-integrin expression.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Wheat germ agglutinin binding glycoproteins of human fibroblasts.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the beta1 subunit of human integrin. Reacts with an extracellular epitope of the b1 integrin molecule.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
