Goat Anti-ITGB5 (Integrin beta-5)

Integrins are heterodimers composed of non-covalently associated transmembrane alpha and beta subunits. Most integrin receptors bind ligands, components of the extracellular matrix, including fibronectin, collagen and vitronectin. Ligands serve to cross-link or cluster integrins by binding to adjacent integrin receptors. In addition to mediating cell adhesion and cytoskeletal organization, integrins function as signaling receptors.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:16,000 Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-TFNKFNKSYNGTVD, from ITGB5, at C-terminal (NP_002204.2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human ITGB5. Species Crossreactivity: Mouse. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine, porcine and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
