Goat Anti-Interleukin 2 (IL-2) (MaxLight 650)

MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.

Interleukin-2 is a potent immunoregulatory lymphokine produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation.. IL-2/IL-2R signaling is required for T-cell proliferation and other fundamental functions which are essential for the immunoe response. IL-2 stimulates growth and differentiation of B-cells, NK cells, lymphokine activated killer cells, monocytes, macrophages and oligodendrocytes. Human IL-2 is a 15.5kD protein containing 134 amino acid residues including one intrachain disulfide bond.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Neutralization. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): Heat induced antigen retrieval with sodium citrate, pH 6.0 is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Recombinant human Interleukin 2 expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with MaxLight™650.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Interleukin 2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
