Mouse Anti-Interleukin 17 Receptor D (IL-17RD)
Interleukin 17 Receptor D (IL-17RD), also known as Sef (similar expression to FGFs), is a type I transmembrane IL-17R-related protein that can bind to FGF receptors 1 and 2 and antagonize ERK signaling by preventing translocation to the nucleus. The full-length 739aa hSef-a isoform is a 120kD cell surface glycoprotein expressed in most tissues (except thyroid). Three other isoforms have alternate N-termini shortened by 24, 32 or 144aa. Isoform hSef-b is an 80kD non-glycosylated intracellular Golgi membrane protein within thyroid, testes, pituitary and fetal brain. Human IL-17RD shows 90% aa identity with mouse IL-17RD in the extracellular/lumenal region.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1ug/ml using recombinant human Interleukin 17 Receptor D Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to Ala27-Arg299 from the extracellular domain of human IL-17RD expressed in NS0 cells.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography from cell culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes human Interleukin 17 Receptor D. Does not crossreact with rmIL-17RD, rhIL-17RC or rhIL-17BR in Direct ELISA.
