Goat Anti-KLK2 (Kallikrein-2, Glandular Kallikrein-1, hGK-1, Tissue Kallikrein-2)

Glandular kallikreins cleave Met-Lys and Arg-Ser bonds in kininogen to release Lys-bradykinin.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:16,000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 2.5-3.8ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml, observed in human prostate lysates on ~22kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-KHQSLRPDEDSSHD, from human KLK2, at the internal region of the (NP_005542.1, NP_001002231.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
