Goat Anti-KPNB1 (Importin Subunit beta-1, Importin-90, Karyopherin Subunit beta-1, Nuclear Factor p97, Pore Targeting Complex 97kD Subunit, PTAC97, NTF97)

NTF97 is involved in nuclear protein import, either by associating itself with an adapter protein (for example, importin-alpha subunit which binds to nuclear localization signals (NLS) in cargo substrates), or by acting autonomously as a nuclear transport receptor.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml, observed in lysates of cell lines Daudi, HEK293, and Jurkat on ~90-100kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-RRSKTNKAKTLAT, from human KPNB1, at C-terminal (NP_002256.2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human KPNB1. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine, mouse and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
