Rabbit Anti-KRT10, ID (Keratin, Type I Cytoskeletal 10, Cytokeratin-10, CK-10, Keratin-10, K10, KPP)

KRT10 is a member of the type I (acidic) cytokeratin family, which belongs to the superfamily of intermediate filament (IF) proteins. Keratins are heteropolymeric structural proteins which form the intermediate filament. These filaments, along with actin microfilaments and microtubules, compose the cytoskeleton of epithelial cells. Mutations in its gene are associated with epidermolytic hyperkeratosis.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Indirect Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50 Western Blot: 1:50-1:100 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region between corresponding to a portion of amino acids within aa325-354 from the center region of human KRT10, conjugated to KLH.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Specificity
Recognizes human KRT10.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
