Mouse Anti-Keratin 10 (BSA & Azide Free) (MaxLight 550)

MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.

Keratin 10 (CK 10) is expressed in all suprabasal layers of the epidermis. In the epidermis, expression of CK 10 strictly parallels the extent of differentiation; it is absent in the basal layer, appears in the first suprabasal layers and increases in concentration towards the granular layer. Expression of CK 10 is related to maturation of malignant keratinocytes, being preferentially detected in more differentiated parts.
Applications: Immunofluorescence, Western Blotting, Immunohistochemistry.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blotting: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 2-4ug/ml. Frozen & formalin/paraffin. No special pretreatment is required for staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Cytoskeletal preparation extracted from human ectocervical epithelium. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with MaxLight™550.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human Keratin 10 at 56.5kD. Species Crossreactivity: rat, canine and feline.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
