Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa161-179 (CLDEKTVEDLELNIKYSTA) of human 15-lipoxygenase-2 (15-LOX-2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human 15-LOX-2. Does not cross-react with rabbit reticulocyte 15-LOX-1 and pig leukocytes 15-LOX-1. Other species have not been tested.
