Goat Anti-LNK (Lymphocyte Adapter Protein, Lymphocyte Specific Adapter Protein Lnk, SH2B Adaptor Protein 3, SH2B3, Signal Transduction Protein Lnk)
lymphocyte adaptor protein, SH2B adaptor protein 3, LNK, SH2B3

This gene encodes a member of the SH2B adaptor family of proteins, which are involved in a range of signaling activities by growth factor and cytokine receptors. The encoded protein is a key negative regulator of cytokine signaling and plays a critical role in hematopoiesis. Mutations in this gene have been associated with susceptibility to celiac disease type 13 and susceptibility to insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml detects ~70kD band observed in lysates of cell line MOLT4 (calculated MW of 63.2kD according to NP_005466.1). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing SH2B3 a band of approx. 65kD is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to NGPALQPSSPC, from the N-Terminus of human SH2B3.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, pH 7.2, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SH2B3.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
