Mouse Anti-Lysozyme (LYZ, LZM, 1,4-beta-N-acetylmuramidase C, Lysozyme C) (PE)
EC=3.2.1.17
Lysozyme is an enzyme that is present in mucosal secretions such as saliva and tears and is involved with non-specific organism defense. It functions by hydrolyzing 1,2-beta linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues such as those found in the walls of various Gram-positive bacteria.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Flow Cytometry, and Immunohistochemistry (paraffin). Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Flow Cytometry: 1:10, 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul, membrane permeabilization is required for this application Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control Tissue
Human Tonsil
