Rabbit Anti-Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 2 (MIP-2)
MIP-2, also known as CXCL2, is expressed by macrophages and epidermal langerhans cells and is chemotactic for neutrophils.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA (sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml (100ul/well) in conjunction with M1202-52D as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant mouse MIP-2 Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant mouse MIP-2 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS containing 0.1% BSA or HSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
Immunogen
Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse MIP-2 expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.4. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 0.1% BSA to 0.1-1mg/ml
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-2.
