Mouse Anti-Macrophages (FITC)

Expression of macrophages is increased with maturation, with higher expression on peritoneal and alveolar macrophages. Some expression has also been observed on peripheral blood lymphocytes. The antigen recognised has a broad tissue distribution. Clone 10F28 stains macrophages in a range of tissues, including the thymus, spleen periarteriolar lymphoid sheath (PALS), spleen red pulp and the Peyer’s patches.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: Neat; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Membrane permeabilisation is required. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
Immunogen
Porcine alveolar macrophages
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes porcine cells of the monocyte/macrophage lineage.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
