Mouse Anti-NOS I (Nitric Oxide Synthase 1 (Neuronal), NOS Type I, NOS1, NOS 1, Constitutive NOS, IHPS1, Neuronal Nitric Oxide Synthase, Neuronal NOS, nNOS, N-NOS, NC-NOS, Nitric Oxide Synthase Brain, bNOS, NOS)
EC=1.14.13.39
Nitric oxide synthase (NOS) catalyses the formation of nitric oxide, an important messenger molecule in functions such as homeostasis and synaptic plasticity. NOS is classified into three types: (1) neuronal NOS (nNOS) or brain NOS (bNOS) (2) inducible NOS (iNOS) or macrophage NOS (mNOS) and (3) endothelial NOS (eNOS).
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
