Mouse Anti-Nuclear Pore Complex-interacting Protein (NPIP) (Not for Export EU)
The deduced 350-amino acid NPIP protein is membrane bound. Immunofluorescence microscopy demonstrated localization of NPIP to the nuclear membrane and colocalization with nuclear pore complex protein nucleoporin p62. NPIP is widely expressed and is thought to associate with the nuclear pore complex.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant human NPIP (97-196) with a GST tag.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 50% glyceol.
Specificity
Recognizes human NPIP.
