Mouse Anti-NuMA (Nuclear Mitotic Apparatus Protein, NuMA Protein, NUMA1, SP-H Antigen)
Nuclear Mitotic Apparatus Protein 1, Centrophilin Stabilizes Mitotic Spindle in Mitotic Cells, Structural Nuclear Protein
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Western Blot: With mitotic cells, detects a main band at ~210kD and additional weaker bands at 240 and180kD. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Live Ls 174T cells (colon carcinoma)
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.05% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified
Specificity
Recognizes human NuMA. Reacts specifically with a cell nucleus, mitotic cell antigen, poles of the mitotic spindle, adjacent microtubuli and centrosomes.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
