Goat Anti-Orexin Receptor Type 2 (HCRTR2, Ox-2-R, Ox2-R, Ox2R, Hypocretin Receptor Type 2)

Nonselective, high-affinity receptor for both orexin-A and orexin-B neuropeptides.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 1:128,000. Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, observed in human brain (cerebral cortex, hippocampus and substantia nigra) lysates on ~50kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to SGTKLEDSPPCRN, from human HCRTR2, at N-terminal. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine and porcine.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human HCRTR2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
