Mouse Anti-Osteocalcin (Bone-Gla-Protein, BGP)
Osteocalcin is single-chain (MW 5800) vitamin K-dependent protein produced by osteoblasts and found in high concentrations in bone.
Applications
Suitable for use in RIA, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution ELISA: 100-1000ug/ml. Coat plate with Osteocalcin at 5-10ug/ml. Western Blot: 10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 10-15ug/ml Note: Assays require 1-2mM CaCl2. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Purified by Ion Exchange chromatography from ascites.
Specificity
