Goat Anti-PDIA2 (Protein Disulfide-isomerase A2, Pancreas-specific Protein Disulfide Isomerase, PDIp, PDIP)

Acts as an intracellular estrogen-binding protein. May be involved in modulating cellular levels and biological functions of estrogens in the pancreas. May act as a chaperone that inhibits aggregation of misfolded proteins.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.01-0.03ug/ml, observed in human pancreas lysates on ~60kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-NLETTKKYAPVD, from human PDIA2, at the internal region of the protein (NP_006840.2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human PDIA2. Species sequence homology: Mouse and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
