Goat Anti-PHAPI2 (Acidic Leucine-rich Nuclear Phosphoprotein 32 Family Member B, Acidic Protein Rich in Leucines, Putative HLA-DR-associated Protein I-2, ANP32B, Silver-stainable Protein SSP29, APRIL)

Multifunctional protein working as a cell cycle progression factor as well as a cell survival factor. Required for the progression from the G1 to the S phase. Anti-apoptotic protein which functions as a caspase-3 inhibitor. Has no phosphatase 2A (PP2A) inhibitor activity. Exhibits histone chaperone properties, stimulating core histones to assemble into a nucleosome.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, human lymph node lysates and in lysates of cell line A431 observed on ~26kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-KRKRETDDEGEDD, from human SSP29, at C-terminal (NP_006392.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SSP29. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine, mouse, porcine and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
