Rabbit Anti-PiT 2 (GLVR-2, Ram-1, GLVR-2, Gibbon Leukemia Virus Receptor 2) (Not for Export EU)
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. A band of 95-110kD has been detected in brush border membrane (2). ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
A 19 AA synthetic peptide within the 4th putative cytoplasmic domain of Human PiT-2/GLVR-2 (1) was synthesized, conjugated to KLH.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Purity
Serum
Specificity
Recognizes human PiT 2. Species sequence homology: rat, hamster (100%), mouse and feline (94%). No significant sequence homology is observed with PiT-1 or NaPi-Type I, -2, or IV transporters.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
