Rabbit Anti-Pokemon (POK Erythroid Myeloid Ontogenic Factor, Factor that Binds to Inducer of Short Transcripts Protein 1, Factor Binding IST Protein 1, FBI1, FBI-1, HIV-1 1st-binding Protein 1, Leukemia/lymphoma-related Factor, LRF, TTF-I Interacting Peptide 21, TIP21, Zinc Finger and BTB Domain-containing Protein 7A, ZBTB7A, ZBTB7) (Not for Export EU)

Pokemon is a 584aa protein containing 1 BTB (POZ) domain and 4 C2H2-type zinc fingers. It is involved in transcriptional regulation and influencing the switch from cellular proliferation to terminal differentiation. It is a cellular factor that preferentially associates with active chromatin and that can specifically stimulate Tat-activated HIV-1 transcription. Pokemon expression levels have been shown to predict biological behavior and clinical outcome.
