Goat Anti-PITX3 (Pituitary Homeobox 3, Paired-like Homeodomain Transcription Factor 3, Homeobox Protein PITX3, PTX3)
PITX3 is a member of the RIEG/PITX homeobox family, which is in the bicoid class of homeodomain proteins. Members of this family act as transcription factors. This protein is involved in lens formation during eye development.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, observed in human brain (cerebellum and cerebral cortex) lysates on ~40kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to PEHGCKGQEHSD, from human PITX3, at the internal region of the protein (NP_005020.1).
