-20°CRabbit Anti-Rac2 (RAC2, ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 2 (rho family, small GTP binding protein Rac2), EN-7, Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 2, rho family, small GTP binding protein Rac2, Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 3 (rho family, small GTP-binding protein Rac2))
Rac2 is a small signaling G protein (more specifically a GTPase), and is a member of the Rac subfamily of the family Rho family of GTPases. Rac proteins play important roles in multiple cellular events, including actin cytoskeletal organization, cell proliferation and survival, cell cycle progression, and gene transcription regulation.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1:500 detected Rac2 in 10ug of HL-60 human promyelocytic leukemia cell lysate Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:50 detected Rac2 in human tonsil, human small intestine and mouse spleen tissue sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary Antibodies
I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
