Goat Anti-RHPN2 (Rhophilin-2, 76kD RhoB Effector Protein, GTP-Rho-binding Protein 2, p76RBE)

Binds specifically to GTP-Rho. May function in a Rho pathway to limit stress fiber formation and/or increase the turnover of F-actin structures in the absence of high levels of RhoA activity.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:32,000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 5-10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-TNKNRQKSAST, from human RHPN2, at the internal region of the protein (NP_149094.3).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human RHPN2. Species sequence homology: Bovine, mouse and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
