Goat Anti-REXO1 (RNA Exonuclease 1 Homolog, Elongin-A-binding Protein 1, EloA-BP1, Transcription Elongation Factor B Polypeptide 3-binding Protein 1, ELOABP1, KIAA1138, TCEB3BP1)

REXO1 is an exonuclease domain-containing protein that can bind to Elongin. The Elongin complex stimulates the rate of transcription elongation by RNA polymerase II by suppressing the transient pausing of the polymerase at many sites along the DNA template. REXO1 is composed of 1221aa and its mRNA is ubiquitously expressed. It is a putative stem cell marker and is highly expressed in embryonic and adult stem cells.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:8000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-KVREDAKTKR, from REXO1, at C-terminal (NP_065746.2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes REXO1. Species sequence homology: Canine, human, mouse and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
