Rabbit Anti-RRAGC (Ras-related GTP Binding C, AU041672, GTPase-interacting Protein 2, GTR2, Rag C Protein, RAGC, TIB929, YGR163W)

mTORC1 kinase complex is a critical component in regulating cell growth (1,2). Its activity is modulated by energy levels, growth factors and amino acids (3,4). Recent studies found that RagA, RagB, RagC and RagD, the four related GTPases, interact with raptor in mTORC1 (1,2). These interactions are both necessary and sufficient for mTORC1 activation in response to amino acid signals (1,2).

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunofluorescence (IF-IC): 1:100 Flow Cytometry: 1:400 Western Blot: 1:1000 Immunoprecipitation: 1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in the N-terminus of human RagC.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 10mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, 150mM sodium chloride, 0.1mg/ml BSA, <0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
