Goat Anti-SCP2 (Non-specific Lipid-transfer Protein, NSL-TP, Propanoyl-CoA C-acyltransferase, SCP-chi, SCPX, Sterol Carrier Protein 2, SCP-2, Sterol Carrier Protein X, SCP-X)

Mediates in vitro the transfer of all common phospholipids, cholesterol and gangliosides between membranes. May play a role in regulating steroidogenesis.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:32,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-KNHKHSVNNPYSQ, from SCP2, at the internal region of the protein (NP_001007099.1, NP_002970.2).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes SCP2. Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine human, mouse, porcine and rat.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
