Goat Anti-SEPT6 (Septin-6, KIAA0128, SEP2)

Filament-forming cytoskeletal GTPase. Required for normal organization of the actin cytoskeleton. Involved in cytokinesis. May play a role in HCV RNA replication.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:4000 Western Blot: 0.03-1ug/ml, observed in human testis, Thyroid Gland and MOLT4 cell lysates on ~50kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-DEVNAFKQRKTA, from human SEPT6, at the internal region of the protein (NP_665798.1, NP_055944.2, NP_665801.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SEPT6. Species sequence homology: Bovine and canine.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
