Mouse Anti-SIRP, alpha1 (SIRPa, Signal Regulatory Protein, SHPS-1, BIT, p84, CD172a) (PE)
Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin). Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:200 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul Immunohistochemistry: Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. trypsin or pronase. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher
Recommended Secondary Reagents
IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:FITC (rat adsorbed) IgG Goat anti mouse IgG:RPE (rat adsorbed)
Recommended Secondary Reagents
Goat anti mouse IgG:HRP (rat adsorbed)
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Rat peritoneal macrophages
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE).
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes rat CD172a, also known as Signal regulatory protein (SIRP). CD172a is expressed selectively by myeloid cells and by neurons. Binds to a different epitope on SIRP than ED9. Does not block the interaction of CD172a-CD47.
