Mouse Anti-SNAP43 (Small Nuclear RNA Activating Complex, Polypeptide 1 43kD, SNAPC1, PTFgamma)

SNAP43 is part of the SNAPc complex required for the transcription of both RNA polymerase II and III small-nuclear RNA genes. It binds to the proximal sequence element (PSE), a non-TATA-box basal promoter element common to these 2 types of genes. SNAP43 Recruits TBP and BRF2 to the U6 snRNA TATA box.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Dot Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunocytochemistry: 2-100ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant protein corresponding to human SNAP43
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from hybridoma culture supernatant
Specificity
Recognizes human SNAP43.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
