Rabbit Anti-S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2 (SKP2, Cyclin-A/CDK2-associated Protein p45, F-box Protein Skp2, F-box/LRR-repeat Protein 1, FBL1, FBXL1, FLB1, MGC1366, p45skp2)

S-phase kinase-associated protein 2 (SKP2) is a subunit in the SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein E3 ubiquitin protein ligase complex. This complex mediates the ubiquitination and the subsequent degradation of proteins involved in cell cycle progression, signal transduction and transcription.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Formalin): 1.2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa2-20, HRKHLQEIPDLSSNVATSF to the N-terminus of human S-phase kinase-associated protein 2.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 5% BSA, 0.05% thimerosal, 0.05% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile dH2O.
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human SKP2. Species Crossreactivity: Mouse, rat.
