Rabbit Anti-Synaptonemal Complex Protein 3 (SCP3, SCP-3, SYCP3, COR1, MGC71888, RNASCP3) (HRP)
The synaptonemal complex is a proteinaceous complex that apparently mediates synapses during the zygotene stage and then disintegrates. It is a complex structure that unites homologous chromosomes during the prophase stage of meiosis. It is the result of chromosome pairing interactions and not the cause of them.
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:750 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store at 2-8°C. Do Not Freeze! Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
Immunogen
A synthetic peptide made to the C-terminal region of the mouse SCP3 protein.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4. Labeled with HRP.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse synaptonemal complex protein 3.
