Mouse Anti-TEAD4 (Transcriptional Enhancer Factor TEF-3, TEA Domain Family Member 4, TEAD-4, Transcription Factor RTEF-1, Transcription Factor 13-like 1, RTEF1, TCF13L1, TEF3) (Azide Free)

TEAD4 is a member of the transcriptional enhancer factor (TEF) family of transcription factors, which contain the TEA/ATTS DNA-binding domain. It is preferentially expressed in the skeletal muscle, and binds to the M-CAT regulatory element found in promoters of muscle-specific genes to direct their gene expression. Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms, some of which are translated through the use of a non-AUG (UUG) initiation codon, have been described for this gene.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 1ug/ml Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Partial recombinant protein corresponding to aa151-261 from human TEAD4 with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added (azide free).
Purity
Purified.
Specificity
Recognizes human TEAD4.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
