Goat Anti-TXNDC5 (Thioredoxin Domain-containing Protein 5, Endoplasmic Reticulum Resident Protein 46, ER Protein 46, ERp46, Thioredoxin-like Protein p46, TLP46, UNQ364/PRO700)
This is a protein-disulfide isomerase. Its expression is induced by hypoxia and its role may be to protect hypoxic cells from apoptosis.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.1-1ug/ml, observed in human placenta lysates on ~50kD bands Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-SLHRFVLSQAKDEL, from human TXNDC5, at C-terminal (NP_110437.2, NP_001139021.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human TXNDC5.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
