Mouse Anti-Thrombospondin Type-1 Domain-containing Protein 1 (THSD1, Transmembrane Molecule with Thrombospondin Module, Tmtsp)

THSD1 (thrombospondin type 1 domain-containing protein 1; also TMTSP) is a 90-100kD type I transmembrane protein that is reminiscent of Unc5h proteins. It is expressed on embryonic endothelial and hematopoietic stem cells, and may be involved in cell-cell interactions. Mature human THSD1 contains a 388aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa25-412) and a 418aa cytoplasmic region (aa434-851). The ECD possesses three Ig-like domains (aa156-316) and one TSP type-1 domain (aa340-393). There is one potential alternate start site at Met380, and two splice variants, one of which shows a deletion of aa341-393, and a second that shows a 36aa substitution for aa394-851, generating a soluble form. Over aa25-361, human THSD1 is 76% aa identical to mouse THSD1.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
NS0-derived, recombinant human THSD1 (aa25-361).
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS.
Purity
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human THSD1. Species sequence homology: mouse (76%).

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
