Rabbit Anti-Toll Like Receptor 2, NT (TLR2, CD282) (MaxLight 550)

MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.

Toll Like Receptor 2 (TLR2) is a 90kD type 1 transmembrane protein that is primarily expressed by peripheral blood monocytes. TLR2 is also expressed in the spleen, bone marrow and lymph nodes. TLR2 is reported to respond to a diverse range of bacterial cell wall components, mediating the innate immune response in co-operation with MD-2.
Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: detected a band of ~100kD in A-20 cell lysates. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control
Human spleen
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Peptide corresponding to an 14aa sequence near the N-terminus of human TLR2. Epitope: the first 50aa of TLR2.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with MaxLight™550.
Purity
Purified by Ion Exchange chromatography
Specificity
Recognizes human Toll Like Receptor 2, NT. Species Crossreactivity: mouse

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
