Rabbit Anti-TrkB (Tyrosine Kinase Receptor B) (Not for Export EU)

The Trk family of tyrosine protein kinase receptors, is responsible for mediating the trophic effects of the NGF family of neurotrophins.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry (tissue from rat spinal cord): 1:2000-1:3000 Western Blot (rat membrane preparations): 1:1000-1:1500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa54-67 (AFPRLEPNSIDPENC) which is a portion of the extracellular domain from rat trkB.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder. No preservative added. Reconstitute with 50ul sterile dH2O.
Purity
Serum
Specificity
Recognizes rat TrkB. The sequence used for the immunogen was chosen to avoid crossreactivity with trkA or trkC. Species Crossreactivity: human

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
