Rabbit Anti-tRNA Synthetase, Alanyl, ID (AARS2, Probable Alanyl-tRNA Synthetase, Mitochondrial, Alanine-tRNA Ligase, Putative, Alanyl-tRNA Synthetase-like, AARSL, KIAA1270)

Alanyl-tRNA synthetase 2 (AARS2) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction: ATP + L-alanine + tRNAAla <---> AMP + diphosphate + L-alanyl-tRNAAla This enzyme participates in alanine and aspartate metabolism and aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of amino acids within aa373-402 from the center region of human AARS2.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation.
Specificity
Recognizes human AARS2.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
