Goat Anti-UNC-112 related protein 2 (fermitin family homolog 3, KIND3, Kindlin-3, MGC10966, MIG-2, MIG2B, MIG2-like, UNC112C, , Unc-112-related protein 2, URP2, URP2SF)
kindlin-3, kindlin 3, fermitin family homolog 3, UNC-112 related protein 2, URP2SF, URP2, UNC112C, MIG2B, MIG-2, MGC10966, KIND3, fermitin family homolog 3 (Drosophila), FERMT3

Kindlins are a small family of proteins that mediate protein-protein interactions involved in integrin activation and thereby have a role in cell adhesion, migration, differentiation, and proliferation. The protein encoded by this gene has a key role in the regulation of hemostasis and thrombosis. This protein may also help maintain the membrane skeleton of erythrocytes. Mutations in this gene cause the autosomal recessive leukocyte adhesion deficiency syndrome-III (LAD-III). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Peptide ELISA Titer: 1:2000 Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml detects ~75kD band observed in Human Peripheral Blood Mononucleocytes lysates (calculated MW of 75.4kD according to NP_113659.3). Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to C-ERARGEELDED, from the C-Terminus of human URP2 (NP_113659.3; NP_848537.1).
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, pH 7.2, 0.5% BSA, 0.02% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human URP2. Species sequence homology: mouse, rat, canine, bovine. Expected to recognize both isoforms (NP_113659.3, NP_848537.1).

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
