Goat Anti-WNT3 (Proto-oncogene Wnt-3, Proto-oncogene Int-4 Homolog, INT4)

Ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. Wnt-3 and Wnt-3a play distinct roles in cell-cell signaling during morphogenesis of the developing neural tube.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Peptide ELISA: 1:16,000. Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, ~40kD band observed in lysates of cell line HEK293 (calculated MW of 39.6kD according to NP_110380.1). Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 3-5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to CGRGHNTRTEKRKEK at the internal region of human WNT3. Species sequence homology: mouse, canine and rat.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.3, 0.5% BSA.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human WNT3.

Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
