Excellent stable model compound for sensory studies. alpha-Glucosidase inhibitor used in diabetes mellitus, cancer, infection and inflammatory research. ACAT (Acyl-CoA cholesteryl acyl transferase) inhibitor. Potential anti-cancer lead compound.
