Diphosphoryl Chloride is used in the synthesis of potent and orally bioavailable tricyclic CGRP receptor antagonists. Also used in the synthesis of transition state analogue inhbitors of inosine monophosphate.

Storage and Stability
Store at -20°C under inert atmosphere. Hygroscopic. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
