Potent sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) receptor (S1P1, S1P3, S1P4, and S1P5) agonist when phosphorylated by sphingosine kinase. Sphingosine transporter Abcb1 and leukotriene C4 transporter Abcc1 activity enhancer. Cytosolic phospholipase A2 inhibitor, independent of sphingosine 1-phosphate receptors. Autophagy inducer. Apoptosis inducer.

Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with DMSO, ethanol or DMF. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
