A highly potent antagonist slightly selective for NR2A over other subtype nMDA receptors (Ki = 0.041, 0.27, 0.63 and 1.99uM for nMDA subtypes NR2A, NR2B, NR2C, and NR2D, respectively). Commonly used for various research in brain functions and disorders that neurotransmissions via nMDA receptors are involved.
