LIPG, Recombinant, Human, aa21-340, His-Tag (Endothelial Lipase Precursor, Lipase, Endothelial, EDL, EL, PRO719)

LIPG has substantial phospholipase activity and may be involved in lipoprotein metabolism and vascular biology. This protein is designated a member of the TG lipase family by its sequence and characteristic lid region which provides substrate specificity for enzymes of the TG lipase family.

Source
Recombinant corresponding to aa21-340 from human LIPG protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli.
Molecular Weight
~38kD (343aa)
Applications
Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
