2-(3,5-difluoro-4-hydroxyanilino)-5,7-dimethyl-8-(3-methylbutyl)-7H-pteridin-6-one
BI-D1870 is a cell permeable and highly specific inhibitor of the ribosomal S6 kinases (RSK 1-4). The RSKs are highly conserved Ser/Thr kinases that promote cell proliferation, growth, motility and survival. It is also reported to prevent gamma irradiation-induced apoptosis and to drive the cells to senescence.
