L-Prolyl-2-(1,1-dimethylallyl)-L-tryptophan Anhydride
Deoxybrevianamide E is an alkaloidal diketopiperazine derived from tryptophan and proline, isolated from Aspergillus and Penicillium species. There are no reports of intensive investigation of deoxybrevianamide E. In-house screening identified weak activity against mammalian tumor cells but no antibacterial or antifungal activity.

Soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
